Tahoe City Multi-Use Path

Summer of 2018 MKD Construction constructed a project for Tahoe City Public Utility District located in California. The project involved many stake holders and was considered a high profile project. The project involved upgrading and replacing a multi-use path that ran adjacent to the Truckee River. The project was in an environmentally sensitive area and very congested during the summer months with traffic and pedestrians, making the build challenging. Tahoe Cities team of engineers and inspectors were excellent to work with, resulting in a great partnership. MKD construction maintained the budget of $1,500,312 and completed the project on time. The users of the trail were pleased with the workmanship and smoothness of their new multi-use path.
